Embracing the slow, simple life

I'm sure you've felt it too....

The days fly by, weeks disappear, and you wonder where they went. The world is so fast-paced that you feel you are barely keeping up or feel left out because you can't even get into the crowd.

Well, friend... I'm stepping out.

I'll let others run this fast-paced race, but I'm choosing to step out of it and go my own way.

You may have reached this point too.

You may be ready to slow down, soak in this life, and not be exhausted by trying to keep up.

We already know this life goes by way too quick (James 4:14)

“You don’t know what will happen tomorrow! Your life is like a fog. You can see it for a short time, but then it goes away!” - James 4:14

Let's make sure we focus on what's truly important ( Philippians 4:8-9, 1 Corinthians 13:13)

“Brothers and sisters, continue to think about the things that are good and worthy of praise. Think about the things that are true and honorable and right and pure and beautiful and respected. And do the things that you learned and received from me. Do the things I told you and the things you saw me do. And the God who give peace will be with you.” -Philippians 4:8-9

“So these three thing continue: faith, hope and love. And the greatest of these is love,” -1 Corinthians 13:13

What would that look like for you?

What changes would you need to make to live a simpler, slower-paced life right now?

It's okay to go against the current. In fact, I would say that life is better that way.

So here's to the ones that decide they don't want to stay in the current that they've been stuck in for too long.

I see you, my friend, and I'm rooting for you! Make some little changes now.

Start going against the grain. Start embracing a slower, simple life.

I don't think you will regret it.
