We moved.....

We moved!!!

It feels kind of crazy that we have moved already, but we are now in a new area and slowly getting settled in.

You would think by now we would be used to moving and settling down in new places, but it's always a little more complicated than I imagine in my mind (that could just be the perfectionist ways peeking through). I will say this move was probably the least stressful so far. I think part of it in the past few years was challenging, so we were ready to move on and start a new, but also this is the first time in almost ten years that we are living closer to family again.

......also trees, we love how many trees are here. We have all missed trees!

To be completely honest, I am having to remind myself daily to take it easy getting settled here. It's one of those tricky things being a military family... you get settled into one home and have things figured out, and then you have to uproot and start again.

I've been telling myself, just do a little each day with the house, and eventually, it will be set up the way I like it. (but it still kind of drives me nuts when I don't feel settled).

See, I'm a total dreamer and love to brainstorm, plan, set goals, and I have a lot that I would like to start. However, I also know that if I take it easy on myself and slowly get situated, and then I can work on those goals and dreams more, it will be better in the long run because I hopefully won't feel burned out.

Little progress over time leads to big changes.

I am looking forward to our time here in our new home for the time being.

So excited for all the new adventures and memories to be made here.
