How to start finding more joy

Studies have shown that your mindset can affect your health. The mind is a powerful thing, isn't it?!

But, finding joy in hard times is far easier said than done. When times are uncertain, it can make even the most laid back person start to stress.While it's easier for some to do and harder for others, finding joy even in dark times can completely transform your mindset.

I believe that the more you practice seeing the good and finding joy, the easier it becomes. I don't think it has to be anything big either...

start with simple things, because often those little things add up.

Good can be found everywhere.

The truth is that many times, it's in the harder moments that we can see the good that we had with us all along.

Often when I feel overwhelmed about stressful times, I start reminding myself of the small things, which then leads to more important things.

  • Music

  • Coffee

  • The warm sun

  • The cool breeze

  • Fresh air

  • Walks outside

  • Reading a good book

  • Slow mornings

  • Time with family

  • New opportunities

  • Friends and Family

The list goes on and on.

It's all about gratitude.... being thankful for the good things you have in your life and cherishing them. It's incredible how much it truly helps.... not only during hard times but every day.
