Self care during quarantine

This certainly is a strange time for most of us. Although I am, for the most part, an introvert and love being at home, but even I'm not used to staying at home this much. I've honestly kind of been embracing it and enjoying the slower life, but I still need things to do for a little self-care.

I know that we are all handling this whole situation differently, and it's certainly harder for some, but I think it's so important for all of us to be taking care of ourselves. I don't do anything fancy for self-care.... just a few simple things that make me feel good.

Here's what I've been doing for Self Care during quarantine:

  • Reading

Currently reading, "Make something good today."

  • Workouts

I try to do a mix of cardio and strength.... whatever makes me feel good and strong.

  • Favorite shows

I have two new favorites: "Home Town" and "Downton Abbey" (yes, I know I'm a little behind on the times.

  • Getting fresh air

I open up the windows in the morning, and in the afternoon, I try to get out with the girls for a little nature hunt.

  • Hobbies

Hoop embroidery & learning to play the ukulele are some of my newer hobbies that I'm trying to improve.

No better time to try something new! I know it doesn't sound like, but it's helped out so much! Take some of the extra time you have to do something for yourself.

Find things that bring you joy.
